Keith lives in Ridgecrest with his family, including 18-month-old twins. Safe streets, neighborhood parks, and sidewalks are of key importance. Keith is committed to adding new parks at every possible opportunity, and worked on the planning commission to ensure that dedicated park land is a requirement of development agreements–meaning that as large developments are proposed for Shoreline, the developers have to provide funds for new parks.
Shoreline’s existing sidewalk plan is mostly an aspirational document: it calls for sidewalks throughout the city, without any funding mechanism identified. Keith’s committed to making sure we find the funding to get sidewalks, bike lanes, and other mobility improvements in place.
